We’ll seek out fitness tips like below, that will help you determine how much you need to exercise in order to make a difference in your calorie counts.  As you can see, it takes quite a bit of exercise to get rid of only 500 calories, and very little effort to consume them as we all know.
The key however, is to work cumulatively and day to day, so that each day, you are burning or consuming less calories, which spread over the long run.  Approximately 4000 calories equals 1 pound, and your cumulative efforts of 500 calories daily, will add up to equal weight control.

First, let’s start with some food and menu planning tips:

Busy Moms Need Recipe Ideas, Food and Menu Planning Tips for a Family, Don’t They?

Dinner is a hectic time for busy moms who are just getting off of work, or who have been busy with other activities all day.  It’s also the last meal of the day, and a time when families can get together and discuss their day over food. If you are a busy mom, here are 6 food and menu planning tips to help make dinner easy and even fun for the whole family…
1. Recipe Ideas-Cook your meals in advance. After deciding on food plan ideas for the week, go ahead and fix as many meals as you can. Each person can take one meal and fix it for the following week. Once all food has cooled, store it in sealed containers or casserole dishes to be frozen until the night it is needed for cooking. Choose a day when the entire family can help, like Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon.
2. Recipe Ideas-Schedule your recipes ideas a week in advance.  Decide on the last day of the previous week what the menu will be for the following week. This is one of the most important planning tips for cooking. Knowing what you are going to eat throughout the week means less chance that you will stop off at the closest fast food joint for a convenient, but unhealthful meal.  Create your shopping list of food ideas from the list of ingredients to avoid buying what you don’t need at the grocery store.
3. Recipe Ideas-Search online. Use the Internet to search for new and exciting recipe ideas. After a while, your family will get tired of chicken and rice every Tuesday. You can get into a food and menu rut sometimes.  Learn to put a twist on old recipes as ideas for a new food taste and cooking experience.
4. Recipe Ideas-Look for bargains. Clip coupons, read advertising circulars and the like to decide where the best grocery to shop is for your recipe ideas items. Some stores will have double or triple coupon days when you can save even more. If one food ingredient is a common denominator in many recipes, consider buying in bulk to save money as ideas. Common staples like milk, eggs, bread and sugar can be bought in bulk as well.
5. Recipe Ideas-Do cooking prep work in advance. Some foods just taste better cooking freshly prepared, and all of the meals can’t be cooked at once.  For them, do as much cooking prep work in advance as you can. Enlist your kids to help chop vegetables(carefully), dice cooked meat and mix together dry ingredients. The night of the meal, all that is needed is to add the wet ingredients and bake!
6. Recipe Ideas-Have a leftover night of cooking. After preparing meals for five or six days, there is bound to be some food left over. Designate one night to be leftover cooking night, and let everyone mix and match for dinner. It saves you from having to throw away any food.
Meal time doesn’t have to be all on moms, especially for busy moms working. The entire family can help with the weekly food and menu planning ideas, so that dinner is a relaxing meal for everyone in the family.
