I subscribe to a few SEO and traffic advice blogs, and came across a great tip from Christian PF...keyword optimizing your old content.
To do this, you just need to use your Google Analytics account, and see which words are searched the most, and the ones that people are using to find your site.
Then, you add those words or phrases into your old content, wherever it is relevant.
Through Google Analytics, you can find related keywords as well. These words may not appear in your text of your posts, but you may be receiving traffic based on them.
Here is a video walking you through this process...
The benefits to keyword optimizing are that you can establish or "lock in" your rankings, and you can also improve your rankings. As Christian PF puts it, "your old content does not ride off into the sunset, but instead gets better with time."
I started Mommy LaDy Club's Tech Support Now link up to have helpful tips and information all in one place, and from bloggers we know and trust.
If you have any of your own technical advice articles or posts, please add them below. We only ask that you add the direct link to your post and not your homepage.
Thank you, and enjoy hopping around for some great information!
