A few days ago, I joined Klout as LaDy LaDuke, our handmade business for Women, Moms and Babies, and discovered that LaDy LaDuke has influence on these topics:
*ETSY...yes, we have a shop on Etsy.
*MOMS...yes, we make things for Moms.
*EWAN MCGREGOR...Huh?!
*CRAFTS...yes, we are handmade.
Back up...EWAN MCGREGOR??
According to Klout, LaDy LaDuke is an "Explorer" meaning: "You actively engage in the social web, constantly trying out new ways to interact and network. Okay, I'm not sure where Klout got that we have influence on the Ewan McGregor topic, but Betina and I do like him, and are deemed "Explorers" by Klout. So, let's explore...why not!...
Looking into this further, we do have some connections to Ewan:
He is Scottish and Betina and I are 1/4 Scottish.
Ewan lost to Richard Armitage in our Battles of The Leading Men here on Mommy LaDy Club. In fact, I even voted for Ewan, but had no idea I was putting him up against the powerful fan base of Richard Armitage. Sorry Ewan, but Ewan's Moulin Rouge Battle Cry video is truly one of my all time favorites, and I know Betina loves it too! Gives me goosebumps everytime...
Ewan is also young Jedi Obi Wan Kenobi, practically a family member in the LaDuke household growing up. I think we all know the Star Wars Trilogy by heart. I saw it in the movie theater when I was 7. It was a big deal! Still is...
So, bring it on Klout! You've now unleashed the future of our LaDy LaDuke influence. Naturally, we've decided to embrace this whole thing fully. Just tune into our LaDy LaDuke Facebook page for "We Got Klout on Ewan McGregor Wednesdays"

I don't understand klout much either...I only have 2 influences and it's contests and moms. I've only run ONE giveaway on my blog. Can't imagine it was that influencial! BTW...can Ewan sue you for taking his klout???? ;)

Lout is so funny! I'm an expert at blogging, which makes my sisters crack up, since I just got an email address last year! I was an expert in moms for a few hours but they took it away and made me an expert in dishwashers!! So glad you are on Klout now so we can all obsess on our scores together!!!

You're hilarious! I think Ewan is a fabulous thing to be influential on, second only to Richard Armitage of course. I just happen to be influential on headphones or at least I used to be. :)
I don't get this klout thing. I've been thinking of joining but I don't understand how it works. It's a good thing to have influence on somebody like Ewan though. So now, off to Klout. Let me check it out ones more.
